Our offer covers project planning including the selection of cable types and cable routes, functional analysis of existing installations and elucidation of damages. We will give you valuable information about the use, operation and disposal of your cables. Moreover we will keep you and your collagues/staff up-to-date with all aspects covering power cables.

energycableconsult was founded in 2002 by
Dr.-Ing. Dirk Rittinghaus.

Dr. Rittinghaus has been working for many years in the field of power cables. He acquired his comprehensive knowledge in constructional and application-orientated techniques during his many years of experience with the sales and constructional department of a highly reputed German cable producer.

As a team leader Dr. Rittinghaus was responsible for the project planning of cable installations for utilities and industries covering all voltage ranges, as well as for building installations. During many seminars he informed the participants about special features of power cables. With his active work for the standardization bodies of IEC and CENELEC Dr. Rittinghaus gained international reputation as well.

Alongside his further activities on behalf of the manufacturer's association of the German cable industry Dr. Rittinghaus enforced his engagement towards the European cable industry and the standardization bodies. As the German representative in the Technical Committees of IEC and CENELEC he successfully represented the German viewpoint.

energycableconsult works in a network of free-lance engineers to cover other aspects e.g. network calculations and power system planning. By this we can provide our customers not only with profound specialist knowledge but also with embracing know-how.
